Calling all painters. What’s the best way to remove paint from a bathtub and from molding?
May 28th, 2009 | by admin |leona8522 asked:
When painting my bathroom, I got some on the molding and on my bathtub. My bathtub looks like it’s got a green tint to it now (I painted the bathroom teal). How can I remove this paint without ruining my bathtub or the molding? Any ideas besides a lot of scrubbing with soap and water or some other sort of household cleaner?

Your tub has a green tint cause your bathroom is green. Its a reflection on the white surfaces. Now if you have paint spots on the moldings and the tub just use a product called “goof-off” to remove the paint splatters.

Goof off works good but Id try hot water and cleaner first, use a sponge with a rough side it will help, Be careful of some advice your getting the fumes can be dangerous, Its probably latex paint so a good hard cleaning is the way to go
