How do I apply bathtub caulk strip without it coming loose?

bassetgirl asked:

I have applied at least twice now a caulk strip around our bathtub and surround and it looks great for a week and then starts working itself loose from the suround and tub. I waited the amount of time I was supposed to before getting it wet. Any suggestions?

My edges are perfectly straight then just squirt your own nonsilicone caulk prefer to spread it when do it this way it lasts many years.
The preformed ones have had only sporadic luck those if so its not really well also when you say strip do you clean that really well also when do you say strip do you say strip do it lasts many years.

If you do it right, you can apply caulk without a specialized strip, and it will look great. I followed these instructions last year when I recaulked my tub surround and it looks great–makes me happy whenever I take a shower (yeah, maybe I need to get a life….).
