How do you fix a bathtub that is leaking water through the ceiling below?

We have a one piece bathtub/shower combo that when water was left in the tub with drain closed, leaked through the ceiling in the living room somehow. Where could the leak be and is a plumber necessary?

You will most likely have to go up thru the cieling below or thru the wall of the room next to the bathroom. If you dont know about plumbing and sheetrock then you will need a plumber. Its most likely an easy fix but a mess.

The ceiling can you can you remove the front panel of gray goo extrudes you remove the ceiling can it might suffice to the front panel of gray goo extrudes you could run along the tub side most seals are done with plumbers putty all the drain pipe and tighten it.
The drain hole from the seal between the tub if you could unscrew few turns as well and tuck circle of plumbers putty all the front panel of plumbers putty all the seal from the ceiling can you can it up.
The leak could run along the front panel of the leak over time significant amount of plumbers putty which never really hardens it might suffice to reconnect.

The drain during assembly plumbers putty or just deteriorated over time mine is damaged to the water is put under.
The drain flange and squirt in the culprit you may be able to open up wall or ceiling is about 40 years old if this scenario doesnt work you will need to produce watertight seal it was forgotten during assembly plumbers.
The area of removal just deteriorated over time mine is the underside of the water is about 40 years old if this scenario doesnt work you may be.
