How do you repair a leaky bathtub faucet?

This is a standard faucet-everything I’ve seen is for repairing a leaky sink faucet (which I have done), but never a leaky bathtub faucet, and I have one that I need to repair.

The same turn water off and take apart change rubber rings and take apart change rubber rings and take apart.
The same turn water off and replace or if there separate valves then it is the same as sink faucet.
