How do you switch bathtub drain to shower drain?

The end of the water is on if there isnt knob on top of the end of the ring where the tub faucets you dont have hose that attaches to the ring where the ring where the little knob on the water comes out.

Rough is is completely different
pipe size is different (in Oregon)
I would’nt recommend starting to teach yourself plumbing in this project
Hire someone and watch and learn
but if you make them take longer expect to pay extra for that
