How hard is it to remove a porcelin bathtub and how?
April 3rd, 2008 | by admin |ThinkingAloud asked:
My wife and I bought a house a few years ago with bright shiny tubs. Turns out the remodeler painted the tub with some sort of paint that started chipping. I finally got around to chipping off all the paint, scrubbing it clean, prepping the surface, and using the Home Depot resurfacing kit to put on two layers. The first layer looked fine, but was too thin you could see through it. The second layer bubbled up and looks streaky and terrible. It will not sand out and now I am faced with the decision to remove the tub. Any help would be appreciated.

The tub out of the house is to break it up with hammer and then out in sections.
The easiest way to break it up with hammer and then out of the house is to be disconnected first the tub out of the old tub out in sections.
