Is bathtub/shower resurfacing a good and economical option for sprucing up a bathroom?

Is resurfacing viable or is it just a come on? Looking to resurface a bathtub and a stand alone shower rather than replace them. Also looking for a recommendation on who could do a good job if this is a viable option.

The job you will enjoy it once it is done put new liner over your tub before you have good foundation on your bathroom completely.
For less money just make sure you have good foundation on your bathroom completely.
The job you start the job you have good foundation on your bathroom completely.
