Is it hard to line a bathtub yourself?

sweet asked:

My bathtub is horrible to look at. Problem is I don’t have the money to hire a contractor right now. Could a woman with middle of the road handy skills do this?

Yes, I’ve done five or six. You mean re-glaze. Get all your stuff from Home Depot, it’s going to be about $65.00 for everything. If you have big large chips, then stop at “Advance” auto and get a small repair kit for fiberglass. Another $15.00
It’s a lot of work but the results are startling if you do it right.
