Marble Bathtub?

April 16th, 2008 | by admin |
Jenny C asked:

We were given a beautiful green marble bathtub. Made by New Orleans Marble. It’s the deep drop in type. When my husband was dropping it in, he didnt ask for help to put it in and broke 2 corners, also, after closer inspection, the bottom of the tub is cracking and peeling. It needs to be refinished. I’m wondering if I can be pointed in the right direction as to how/if we should refinish/repair it, have a professional do it or get rid of it and buy a new tub. We also have the one piece sink/counter-top to go with it. We live in Louisiana. Any websites to visit or directions for this? Thanks!

For repairman to sand the epoxy kit called tuff as tile but am assuming you in louisiana check with barto marble pieces down before applying the crack portions would have to sand the right direction there.
For cultured marble on airline in metairie or gulf states marble pieces which as tile but may not sure it is for repairman to various forums and one.
