painted over the existing ceramic tub and now it is peeling!! there are renters currently in the home and that is the only bathroom. so trying to refinish / remove the paint isn’t really an option, for it takes several days before they can use the tub due to the fumes, far as we call tell through our own limited research.

we are looking at a tub liner / insert. what is the approximate cost & time actually involved in this type of project? home depot is the company we use because we have a credit card thru them, which we use primarily for home necessities & keeping costs separated

      From what I recall - refinishing a tub costs about $300.00 and it should only take about a day before they can use it again.

      A tub liner can cost $3000.00 with install.

      Just get it resurfaced….
